It goes without saying that the more money you have, the more options you have, but many of us have jobs that only allow for a set salary, or are on fixed incomes.  So, how do you boost your income without working more hours?  Well, the internet is a wonderful thing, and no longer just for entertainment!  There are a number of ways you can make money off the internet without large investments of cash, in fact most of them are FREE.  There are also many free guides available such as this one on how to make money off the net. 

As usual however, Google pretty much has the answers if you're willing to look for them  try Googling "make me rich" or "internet income" below to see how many different ways there are to increase your earning potential. 

After exploring some of the vast options available over the internet, here is what I have found.

The two best and simplest ways to make some extra money are Online Suveys and using a website to generate income from "parking" (this is where you let someone use your website to advertise their products and they pay you) or even selling websites.  More advanced (and rewarding) options include Foreign Exchange currency trading online and even online casinos, I'll go into all of these in more detail below, so read on, give yourself a pat on the back for coming to the right place and start clicking your way to financial freedom.

Online Surveys

Safe, risk free and anyone can do them.  There are a number of Online Survey providers that pay people to give their opinions on various products and services.  The amount paid and type of payment (some pay in cash, some in free goods or enteries into prize draws) depends on the product and length of the survey etc, but at the end of the day they pay you for your time, much like traditional market reserach companies.  Generally you have to complete a basic profile with them and sign up (free) then you'll be offered surveys to complete.  The surveys you'll be offered depend on a number of factors.  For example  The Great NZ Survey, the Great UK Survey and Great Australian Survey apply only to their respective countries and reward you with entries into prize draws.  Others such as Fat Cat Rewards and Paid Surveys Onlineoffer cash payments and are open to various selected countries.  Valued Opinions offers a voucher rewards system and operates in a number of different countries.

Another great option for passive income from the Internet is through your own website.  Setting one up and starting to make money from it is very simple.  First you need to buy a Domain.  This is the unique name of your website location, www.nomortgage4u.com for instance!  Buying a domain is simple and can be very cheap.  You can search for available domains at any number of places, such as Sedo but the best I found was Domainit.  They have a great system and very cheap rates on purchasing domains.  You can search available domains and register them , even park them (the money making bit - I'll get to that in a minute!) all in one place, take a look for yourself here, just type in the name you want:

You can also Sell your domain if you want.  If you pick a domain with a good name or in hot industry you can make a lot of money this way.  So if you have a creative streak, start checking whats around and cash in on it!

While you're waiting for someone to buy your domain, you may as well make some money off it.  This is where parking comes in to it.  Parking is where you let someone use your website to advertise thier products, and they pay you.  There are lots of Parking options, but one of the better ones I have found is the system Sedo offers.  It's free to park your site with them, and they will list it for sale as well if you want, also for free, taking a commision only on a sale.

You can buy, register and park your domain in a matter of minutes for under $10 and start earning straight away.  Sedo tracks everything and you can see at any time how much your domain has made for you, how many people have looked at it and how many people are interested in buying it.  simple, cheap and it works.

You can also develop your website and put adverts on it yourself rather than Parking it with another provider such as Google AdSense or  clixGalore.  This gives you full control over what ad's get displayed and allows you to put non adertising content on your site.  Finally there are ways to cheaply and effectively promote your website to get more visitors or "traffic", some of which are also - you guessed it FREE - like this one.

Foreign Exchange

Often abreviated to Forex, this is buy and selling different currencies via international money markets.  Because the value of any currency fluctuates over time against other currencies it's possible to make a great deal of money this way, in fact NZ Prime Minister John Key have his $50m fortune this way before entering politics.  Like any speculation based business, there is a degree of risk involved and so you should approach the idea of Forex trading cautiously.

Fortunately the internet has revolutionised Forex trading in a number of ways, making it accessible and cheaper to get into than ever before.  There are even online trading sites that offer FREE trial accounts so you can try your hand at forex trading with no risk to see if you're any good at it such as eToro.

Online Casino's

If you really like to play it risky, betting online at one of the many online Casino's is for you.  This can be fun, and even lucrative but carries a high risk and shouldn't be looked at as a true way to boost your income.  The internet has provided ways to "up your odds" though with such things as bonus offers, sign up bonuses and free accounts to get punters started.  If you're feeling lucky, then go ahead and do a search for online casino's you'll find plenty but gamling is NOT recommended as a way out of financial hardship.
